Mission Statement

The Edinburg High School Financial Aid Office is dedicated to finding the means to make a college education attainable to all of our seniors. By making college an absolute option for our students, we will create a “college-going” culture for our seniors and their families to carry on into their communities’ future.

Vision Statement

It is our belief that every one of our students has the capacity to positively contribute to our communities and it is this belief that drives our efforts. Our main goal is to equip the students of our future with the knowledge and skills necessary for a smooth transition to a postsecondary education. The Financial Aid Office guides students through the college admissions, testing and financial aid processes.  We aim to break down the financial barriers that keep many students from pursuing their college dreams by providing information on local, state and national resources. The skills students learn here can be applied beyond the college processes and can be applied to life decisions and aspirations. We strive to actively involve and educate the families of our students in these areas to create a foundation of support. Our expectation of every EHS graduate is to pursue a higher education or postsecondary training for the betterment of their lives.
